Ted Crane Ted Crane graduated from the University of Southern California and became a licensed architect and had a practice for about 15 years. All his life his main interest was the creation of artwork. As an architect he could design and draw buildings but the other time consuming aspects of the construction industry began to wear. So 20 years ago he closed his practice and started his art business. Needless to say with many years of experience in doing professional architectural renderings the pen and ink watercolor artwork of famous landmarks and Universities was a easy transition to make. His drawings reflect the precise detail and the exact realistic proportions that were taught to architects in the past and with his love of this style of art he is trying to carry it on. The original drawings take from 40 to 60 hours to complete and all are done from photographs he uses as reference after visiting the campus to look at the significant landmark and taking many different photos showing the detail of the building and its location for the perspective drawing. Every complete display is made to order for each customer in our production facility and we pride ourselves to have the item ready within a few days. |
